Jenn Clara

Psychology Assistant

(she/her)

Jenn is currently completing her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree as part of the Psychology Honours program at Macewan University. Her future aspiration is to work in a clinical setting as a Registered Psychologist and to help those who are experiencing depression, anxiety and PTSD to navigate and understand their particular emotions and reactions, as well as, how they understand themselves and their relationship to others. Jenn is passionate about helping to empower individuals to grow, learn and cultivate meaningful change in their lives.

Jenn has also been a yoga instructor for the past 10 years where she has had the opportunity to connect with students from all walks of life who have come to their practice for many different reasons. She believes that yoga gives individuals the opportunity to be fully present with their bodies and emotions in an empathic and genuine environment that fosters reflection and healing. Jenn believes that the ability to observe and tolerate your inner sensations, integrate your thoughts, and create new action patterns, in a way that feels safe and supported, are the foundational components in psychological treatments for regulating emotions, healing past traumas and encouraging positive internal transformations.
