Leah has completed her Master’s degree in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary and holds a Bachelor of Science Honors Specialization in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. Further, Leah has a graduate certificate in Psychological Assessment from Concordia University of Edmonton.

Leah has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing learning, attention, mental health and emotional regulation concerns, as well as, individualized intervention programs for families. She specializes in cognitive, academic, adaptive, and social/emotional/behavioural assessment services and has had extensive experience collaborating with speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, social workers, teachers, and educational assistants to implement targeted social-emotional interventions and to foster the development of strategies and skills that best support the functioning and learning of students.

Leah believes that assessments are an empowering tool that provides a window into how clients are functioning within their different environments, including their home, school and/or workplace, and that they provide valuable information that can create successful environments and help clients thrive. Leah is passionate about helping clients learn their strengths and areas of growth, working with them to develop strategies that work best, and watching them implement the strategies to reach their full potential.

Leah offers psychoeducational assessments for individuals of all ages and works at the Edmonton, Camrose, and Fort Saskatchewan locations.
