Paul began his career in the education system with 30 years of experience working with children, youth, and families. His present focus is on trauma, couples, parenting, and first responders.

  • Paul has training in EMDR, a proven support for people who have gone through trauma.

  • Paul has an interest in supporting first responders and is an approved clinician through First Responder Health sanctioned by the Alberta Fire Fighters Association.

  • Paul has expertise with and is approved to counsel indigenous clients and can bill direct through Non-Insured Health Benefits.

  • Paul has been trained and works within the model of Emotionally Focussed Therapy for couples.

  • Paul, along with co-partner Brea, is certified to facilitate attachment-based parenting groups using the evidence-based Connect Parenting and Circle of Security curricula.

Paul believes that we all struggle and that we all need support to do the work to become who we were meant to be, a unique self. If you want to find out more about Paul’s thoughts take a look at the Blog in this website or writings on Connections Instagram.
