Tara has a Master’s degree in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Alberta. Her education and training provided a well-rounded experience, highlighting the importance of a developmental perspective and a biopsychosocial approach when addressing concerns. Tara has experience with children and adolescents facing learning, attention and mental health difficulties. She specializes in assessment services and targeted intervention to help with emotional regulation, behaviour, and social skills.

Tara’s passion for working with children began 14 years ago in her role as a dance instructor. The interactions with children and their families sparked her interest in child psychology. Tara prides herself on her ability to listen and connect with children of all ages. Becoming a mother has also expanded her empathy for children and families experiencing challenges. She is motivated to help impact children and their families in a meaningful way.

Tara provides assessments for people of all ages. She also offers individual and group services for children and teens, as well as individualized intervention programs for families.
